Steam Day Sunday 21st August 2016

Dunaskin will be open again this Sunday, 21st August. Featuring our faithful servant, NCB No. 10, on our ever popular brakevan trips. We might not be in the same league as some of the big preserved railways, but our Steam Days are extremely popular with our younger visitors.

The last Ranger – led walks for this season will be held on Sunday 21st, and these have proved to be immensely popular. Come along to Dunaskin, and be taken for a short walk around the Dunaskin site, when the countryside Rangers will help you have a fun and interesting time, exploring the flora and fauna in the area. Walks commence from the Dunaskin tearoom at 12 noon and again at 2pm, and last for about one hour. Suitable for young families.

If you’ve not been to Dunaskin this year, why not pay us a visit on Sunday, when you can view our working steam powered model railway, plus a small layout for the weans to play with.

Visit our ever popular souvenir shop, and of course, you’ll be wanting a wee seat for that all important cuppa in our tearoom. Teas, coffees, soft drinks, confectionery and sandwiches available from 11am – 4pm. See you on Sunday !
