 Bowes Railway An organisation with aims very similar to our own. This preservation project includes the only preserved standard gauge rope-hauled incline in the world.
 Voie Etroite  Online magazine devoted to French narrow gauge railways. If you can't read French, contact Archie for help!
P'tit Train de la Haute Somme Special events this summer to mark 35 years of preservation. An excellent narrow gauge railway just the other side of the English Channel - not far away these days! (If you want anything on their website translated, ask Archie - use the contact us link.)

Industrial Locomotive Society Covering all preserved industrial locomotives.
Amberley Museum Preserving industrial heritage in the south-east.
Moseley Railway Trust Currently looking for a new operating base, this society is based south of Manchester, and seeks to preserve narrow gauge industrial heritage from the north east of England.
Industrial Railway Society Dedicated to all aspects of industrial railway heritage. This website is a "must see" for all industrial railway enthusiasts.
Scottish Railway Preservation Society Scotland's leading railway preservation organisation. Full information about the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway and the new Scottish Railway Museum.
Llangollen Railway A marvellously scenic line in north Wales. Visit this website to see what is happening at one of Britain's leading heritage railways.
Heritage Railway Association The Organisation which unites all British Heritage Railways. Much interesting information about railway preservation in Britain and Ireland, and links to many other websites.
Caledonian Railway Brechin Preserved steam line running from Brechin to Bridge of Dun. Contains information about ARPG locomotives and rolling stock on loan to the Caledonian Railway.
UK Heritage Railways A guide to the entire heritage railway scene in the UK, including details of special events and operating days for all steam railways.
