Visitor numbers averaged 95 each open day.

The season finally got under way on Sunday July 31st. With one exception (due to locomotive failure) we then ran every Sunday until the end of September.

Visitor numbers started slowly but picked up as the shortened season went on, giving us as end of season average of 95 visitors each time we were open. Since we can only carry 18 passengers at a time, and since advertising had been minimal, we fell that this was a satisfactory result for our first season in our new home.
