How to find the Scottish Industrial Railway Centre.

The new Scottish Industrial Railway Centre is part of Dunaskin Heritage Centre, which is situated in the village of Waterside, about ten miles south of Ayr on the A713, between Patna and Dalmellington. If you're driving down the A713, please remember that it is a very dangerous road with few safe opportunities for overtaking.

The nearest railway station is Ayr. There is a frequent bus service between Ayr and Dalmellington; buses leave Ayr from Burns Statue Square, just outside the station.

Please note that at the moment Dunaskin is only open to the public on ARPG Steam Days. If you wish to visit us at any other time, please contact us first.
